Giving to Children in Need

Robin Hood Montessori School is sponsoring a fundraising program to help all children of The House  of Angels Children’s Orphanage in Romania.  This facility is home to disabled children ranging in ages from infancy to mid teens. Additionally the school supports children who come from impoverished families who live in one room homes, often with no running water, bathroom, electricity or heat, plastic for windows and tarps for roofs. The parents of these children struggle to provide for them.  The Robin Hood Montessori School logo is one that portrays not only a  hero in history  who stood for the rights and welfare of the needy, but also our philosophy that all children in  the  world need to grow in social grace, inner discipline and joy. These are the birthright of the human being who has been allowed to develop essential human qualities. This fundraising program would like to furnish an example of these qualities. 

Ways you can help:

  Crocs for Kids

Bring any gently used Crocs to our school by May 26th.  One of our parents will personally deliver these to the orphanage in June. 

Art for Sale

Purchase one of-a-kind 8 x 10 prints created specifically for this fundraising program by the Romanian artist Maria Dimulescu-Nita.  The two prints are available for $25 each or $30 for both.  All proceeds will go to the House of Angels organization via the US non-profit organization Little Miracles. 

Maria Dimulescu-Nita is an artist from Romania who currently works in Los Angeles as an Art Director.  Over the years, Maria has had many exhibitions in Romania and abroad.  She has received international awards for her paintings and engravings.  In the US she has earned a Masters of Art at the University of CA at Irvine in addition to her extensive education in Romania.  Her most recent work has been designing all of the print materials for the American Foreign Press’s annual Golden Globes awards ceremony.

Tee Shirts

We will design Tee shirts and make them available for purchase in various sizes. The proceeds will go towards this cause.  Our children will be able to wear these shirts on designated days during our summer program.

How to Donate

We welcome donations and sponsorship of the House of Angels. Little Miracles International, Inc. is a non-profit tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization.  Any donation to this project will be considered a charitable donation which you can claim off of your income taxes. All tax receipts will be sent at the end of December. 100% of your donation to this project goes directly to Romania and the House of Angels and the children we care for.
What will your donation or sponsorship provide?

  • Assistance for the neediest of the needy, the at-risk of abandonment children
  • Warm balanced and delicious meals for children with families that need extra help.
  • New shoes, diapers, undergarments, clothing and other misc. needs.
  • Occasional outings for the children.
  • Safe clean warm and secure environment

  • Loving nurturing care of the children

  • Special projects that will directly benefit children and their families

  • Every day after school educational support and needs
