Get ready for a wagon ride around the farm and see how fruits and vegetables grow. We will enjoy fresh watermelons at the:

“Disney Week” (at school)
Let’s think of our school as the largest media and entertainment corporation in the world. We will wear our favorite Disney outfits and approach different themes around Disney characters. |

July 27 – July 31 |
This week we are setting new standards for protecting and preserving open space and endangered wetlands in a highly populated urban setting. We will learn about this steps at the :
“Peter & Mary Muth Center” on Wednesday, July 29 (outside school)

August 3 - August 7

Are you ready for animals and plants native to the southwestern United State? Are you ready to see black bears, mountain lions, bald eagle, island foxes, ocelot, red-tailed hawk, great horned owls, porcupine, coyotes, turkey vultures, coati and more. And let us not forget the barnyard with domestic goats, chevoit sheep, jacob sheep, pot-bellied pigs, doves and pheasants. Where can we see them all? At the:
“Orange County Zoo” on Thursday, August 6 (outside school)

August 10 - August 14 |
Let’s learn about science in a new and tasty way; what makes popcorn pop...ice cream freeze? This is the perfect blend of Science and FUN. Join us for the:
"Incredible Edible Science” (at school)

August 17 - August 21 |
"Environmental Nature Center" on Friday, August 21 (outside school)
We will learn that everything in nature changes. As we will hike through the Center we will learn about the life cycle of frogs, visit the butterfly house, and play a game to learn more about the changing seasons. We will examine animal skin with a magnifying lens, and learn that snakes shed their skin to grow. We will get to meet a real, live snake! Along the trail we will enjoy story time under the dappled shade of oak trees.

August 24 - August 28 |
Did you ever hear that books are magical?
We will meet Professor Rumbledoor. He is a wizard sent to school to teach us that all books are magical. We will enjoy a show packed with high energy. This is not just another magic show, but an interactive journey through the imagination of our young readers.
