Infant / Toddler Room – Infant/Toddler Teacher

Requirements:

• 12 ECE units/3 semester units related to infant care and 6 months experience in a supervised group child care setting with children under age 5 years.

• At least 18 years old

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make a difference every day!

• Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents.

• Teach, educate and monitor children.

• Plan and implement the daily program.

• Solve problems independently and respect self and others.

• Meal and snack preparation, feeding children and modeling table manners.

• Maintain a clean, orderly classroom and school.

• Help children discover new things each day.

• Help children think creatively, spark imagination and help build self-esteem.

• Help children with toilet training and diaper changing.

Montessori Program – Assistant Teacher

We are looking for an independent thinking and self-motivated teacher, passionate about early childhood education, who likes a challenge, enjoys growing professionally, and excels in communication, student record-keeping and student guidance. Candidate must be passionate about education and have 12 ECE units or be enrolled in ECE training.

We are a year-round Montessori preschool for children 2–6 in Mission Viejo, offering a supportive work environment where our goal is to meet the needs of our students through commitment to them and their families, providing a developmentally appropriate environment where teachers continue their own professional development.

• Montessori Diploma

• Montessori Credential from an accredited training program

• 2–5 years experience working with children

• Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check (including criminal and fingerprint requirements), reference check, health screening, and TB test
